APS- Single Axis Solar Panel Tracker

The advantages of the single axis solar panel tracker are fewer footings and vertical elements, features that help deliver a more cost-effective product. There has been more than 7 Megawatts of proven field installations since 2006. One major contributor to the success of this product is it's modular design and the parametric analysis package that accommodates this design. The "parametric" analysis delivered to APS enables site-specific updates to the design components. The analysis package allows immediate feedback for quotations, material ordering and cost reduction. As a member of Raytech Corporation, Jon Ash worked on a team that developed input wind loads, designed the system for manufacturing and used finite element analysis to verify structural integrity of all major structural components.
