APS Multi-Axis Solar Tracker

This is one of the largest multi-axis solar tracking collectors in the world. The solar energy created from this system is fed directly into Arizona's power grid.The installation of this solar tracker can be seen at APS Star Center facility in Tempe, Arizona.

As members of Raytech Corporation, Shawn Meine and Jon Ash worked on a team that developed multiple 4, 5 and 7 Module Multi-Axis Trackers. While on this team Shawn and Jon were integral in developing input wind loads, designing the system for manufacturing and using finite element analysis to verify structural integrity of all major structural components.
